Job Summary
Reporting to Head of Trade Distribution and Syndications. Work in support of team members and stakeholders to assist in executing the Global Trade Banking strategy and delivering wider Bank objectives.
To manage Distribution relationships and ensure on going monitoring of limits is adhered to through spreadsheet management. Facilitate Distribution processes and timely execution of transactions by providing administrative support.
Key Work Outputs and Accountabilities
· Develop own skills and knowledge in collaboration with Various teams, including Trade Finance, Relationship managers, Transaction and Client Services team and key external and internal stakeholders.
· Own the spreadsheet management of facility limits.
· Work closely with Transaction and Client Services team.
· Own the development and continued monitoring of Distribution spreadsheets.
· Produce weekly/monthly Distribution MI.
· Accountable for Distribution checklist management.
· Attend relevant Distribution and wider bank meetings.
· Identify and develop relationships with key stakeholders.
· Respond to enquires in a timely manner, providing a high quality of service and escalate issues where necessary.
Additional Responsibilities:
· Contribute to projects and initiatives as required.
Pick up additional ad hoc activities as directed.
Required Qualifications and Experience
· A keen interest in Banking and Trade Finance.
· Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
· GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
· No prior Banking experience required, but any administration or customer service experience is beneficial.
