Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and analytical summer intern to join our HR team to support the development of an automated suite of HR Management Information (MI). This role is ideal for someone interested in HR, data, technology, and transforming how insights are generated and used in a business.
You will work closely with the HR team to streamline our reporting processes, build dashboards in Power BI, and help us tell a clear “people story” through data.
Key Work Outputs and Accountabilities
Primary Accountabilities:
· Support the design and development of automated HR MI dashboards using Power BI.
· Work with HR colleagues to understand reporting requirements and translate these into dashboard specifications.
· Clean, prepare, and structure HR data in Power BI for reporting and visualisation.
· Build visualisations, models, and automated reports that support strategic and operational decision-making.
· Review existing manual reports and identify opportunities to automate or simplify them.
· Document reporting processes and logic to support future maintenance.
· Support ad‑hoc data analysis requests and contribute to wider HR projects as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
· Contribute to projects and initiatives as required.
Pick up additional ad hoc activities as directed.
Required Qualifications and Experience
· A keen interest in Human Resources.
· Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data
· Basic experience with Power BI – desired
· Proficiency in Excel
· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
· Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
· A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
· GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
